Hmmm .... it's Warmarshal Varesh Ossa, most likely.

I would have hoped for a little more fearsome and distinct species than a human. Kuunavang pwnz Varesh any time.

[edit]By the way, Varesh is the guy on the left in this offscreen photo from GC 2006.[/edit]

It also mentions special 'dances' in the CE. Is this at all accurate? Can we trust this?

no idea, but i don't think they should come up with something like this if it's isn't true

Human pets are cool, but not as cool as a flying dragon. If this is true I'm happy, I just hope the new dances aren't Paragon/Dervish exclusive.

sweeet, I never doubted you CE dance tear*. I have a feeling the Varesh pet wont sell nearly as well as Kuunavang as he's just some ugly human.

I, too, wonder whether the info comes from NCsoft. That's because the text doesn't use the official nomenclature:

* ANet would never call it "Vareshpet". Even "minipet" isn't official. Officially it's called a "miniature".
* Similar for the "signature dances". Signature?? The official nomenclature is "dance emote".

So in any case DiscShop re-worded what they got from NCsoft. Or they simply made it up, guessing based on the Factions CE content.

That, too, doesn't sound like something NCsoft would write. Why "collector"? I'd expect NCsoft to call it an "exclusive miniature" or something like that.

rememebr that CE NF is comming with Miniature standees, and Gaile said herself in her last visit she knew not of any in game content for CE yet.

Not trustworthy imo

Good point. They dont' mention the standee. But the problem with that is it say it's a miniature (Vareshpet). Unless it's a standee of a minipet...

That doesn't make sense at all. They are clearly talking about an activation key that enables the miniature. Why would you need an activation key for the standee? Sheeshhhhhh ...

one serious question for you to think on.

do you really think if something of that magnitude were added to the CE that ANET would not have it plastered all over the GW site to help sales?

think of the added minidrag and the forum flood that caused.

they add a minipet to the CE and nobody notices it?

how about something got lost in the translation along with a big dose of wishful thinking

double sheeshhhh

Well, to be fair, didn't the Heroes thing leak before being officially announced by Anet?

But you have a point. How would this Swedish company scoop the rest of the world, when Anet is based near Seattle?

I, too, file under "wishful thinking" and will patiently (or not), await an official Anet announcement.

Three facts for you to think on:
  1. Many (infact most) features of GW Nightfall revealed in previews are not mentioned on gw.com yet, let alone "plastered all over the site to help sales".
  2. There is no complete content list for Nightfall on any official website yet, neither for the standard edition nor CE.
  3. The official Factions CE content listing still does not even mention the CE exlusive Kuunavang miniature.

Tripple sheeesh.
